Voting documents for the Northpower Electric Power Trust election will be delivered to approximately 78,500 electors in the Whangarei District Council and the Kaipara District Council areas from tomorrow (Friday 25 October 2019). Votes must be returned by noon, Saturday 23 November 2019. The candidates vying for the seven positions on the Trust are as follows.

Any elector who believes they are eligible to vote but hasn't received a voting document by Friday of next week (1 November 2019) is advised to contact the Electoral Office for a special vote - telephone 0800 922 822. Completed voting documents can be returned by post or online and must be received by noon on Saturday 23 November 2019.
To assist voters, completed voting documents can also be hand delivered during normal business hours from Friday 25 October 2019 to Friday 22 November 2019, and from 9.00am to noon on Saturday 23 November 2019 to a ballot box at the Trust office (134 Bank Street, Whangarei). In addition, a polling place will be open at the Dargaville Town Hall, 37 Hokianga Road, Dargaville, from 9.00am to noon on Saturday 23 November 2019.
