Northpower Limited is fast-tracking its transformation from legacy information systems to a strategic emphasis on digital with two key digital appointments in quick succession.
This is the next stage of the evolution of the digital services and offerings Northpower is providing its clients. The company recognises digital plays a massive part in remaining relevant in a fast changing electricity sector and providing value to its customers working with emerging technologies.
Tammy Auranen will begin the role of Group Manager Digital from March 11 – previous experience in the electricity and retail sectors pivotal in her appointment.
Tammy has over 18 years in a variety of digital, technology and improvement based roles, most recently leading the IT & Systems functions for Far North District Council, CityFitness Group and SunRype Products (Canada). Tammy is passionate about delivering value through digital technology.
She believes highly effective digital transformation can only be achieved by knowing your customer well, understanding their needs and how they are changing, and then delivering services to meet those needs.
With over 15 years’ experience delivering digital products, services and propositions for a diverse range of companies, Iain Urquhart has taken the position of Proposition & Experience Lead for Northpower.
The role will lead research, design, testing and incremental achievement of exceptional customer and employee experiences. By collaborating closely with business owners to establish roadmaps for the evolution of key propositions, Iain is charged with embedding design-led techniques and methods across the organisation.
He says by embracing digital transformation at an organisational level - and in collaboration with other electricity lines businesses - Northpower is setting its sights on delivering exceptional customer experience through digital and data platforms.
