Did you know?

It is a requirement under the Electricity Act 1992 that any connectable installation be certified before being connecte to a power supply. For example, marina and holiday park operators will require your boat or caravan to have a current EWOF before supplying you with a powered site.

Why is it important to get a EWOF?

It is important your boat, caravan or motorhome is regularly checked to ensure your electrical installation is safe and fit for its intended use.

Where do I get an EWOF done?

We can provide an EWOF for your boat, caravan or motorhome at our depot or at your premise. The cost* for our EWOF inspection service is:

Any matters that require rectifying will be notified at the time of testing. If your boat, caravan or motorhome fails its EWOF the first time, there is no charge for a retest at our depot. If you lose your Northpower issued EWOF, you can purchase a replacement sticker for $16.90 provided the original was completed at Northpower and is in date range.

How do I book an EWOF?

Step 1: Call Northpower on (09) 430 1803
Step 2: Make an appointment between 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Step 3: You will need to provide the name you want showing on EWOF, your contact phone number, and your address if you require an offsite boat, caravan or motorhome inspection.
